Early Rounds – DeuS Take Control

The opening stages of the match belonged to DeuS, who quickly established control of the objectives and dictated the pace of the game.

DeuS were highly organised early on, controlling key capture points and preventing Delta One from building any ticket momentum. Their positioning and pressure around the objectives allowed them to run the tickets down rapidly and secure a convincing opening round few rounds. D1 were also not focused on the game as we were busy discussing guns and map spawn bugs.

Delta One Respond

After the difficult start, Delta One regrouped and came back into the match with far stronger coordination and map control.

D1 began to win more engagements and were able to stabilise around the objectives, preventing DeuS from gaining early tickets in the following rounds. The final map was extremely close. DeuS could have taken the 3-1 victory winning the first round by 4 tickets. D1 brought it back in a really tough final round winning by 8 tickets and taking the map point.

DeuS were extremely good and definatly took advantage of our mistakes.

In the end, it was an enjoyable, competitive close game.
