Match Report:
This time, we decided to switch things up with leadership across the maps — and it paid off.
Siege of Cairo
Insomnia took charge for the opening map. We narrowly lost the first round, facing a very organised and disciplined opposition. However, the squad showed real resilience in the second round, digging deep and turning the tide to secure the map by just 3 tickets. A razor-close victory in what was a highly competitive opener.
Manhattan Bridge
Walshy stepped up to lead on Manhattan Bridge, and it proved to be another intense back-and-forth battle. DeuS edged the first side, beating us by 5 tickets in yet another tight contest. But once again, the team responded under pressure, delivering a composed second round performance to claw it back and take the map on tickets.
That result pushed us 2–0 up heading into the final map.
Liberation Peak
With the series on the line, Tonko took command for Liberation Peak. Strong tactics, clear communication, and solid organisation across the squad allowed us to control both sides of the map. The team executed the plan effectively, securing wins on both halves to close out the series in convincing fashion.
A hard-fought match throughout against a well-drilled opponent, but the squad’s adaptability, leadership rotation, and composure in tight ticket games made the difference.
